2018 Year 1 week, influenza-like illness sentinel hospitals in the southern provinces accounted for outpatient and emergency cases reported total percentage ( ILI% ) was 6.0% , higher than the previous week and 2014-2017 years ago levels ( 5.5% , 3.0% , 3.2% , 3.3% ).
2018 Year 1 week, sentinel hospitals in the northern provinces reported ILI% to 5.8% , higher than the previous week and 2014 - 2017 same period levels ( 5.5% , 4.1% , 2.9% , 3.8% ).
Outbreak Surveillance
During week 1(Jan 1[SUP]st[/SUP]–Jan 7[SUP]th[/SUP], 2018), there were 182 outbreaks reported nationwide,2 of them were A(H3N2),10 of them were A(H1N1),88 of them were B , 57 of them were untyped, 20 of them were mixed,4 of them were negative,1 of them was A unsubtyped。
Surveillance of outpatient or emergency visits for Influenza-like Illness (ILI)
During week 1, the percentage of outpatient or emergency visits for ILI (ILI %) at national sentinel hospitals in southern China was6.0%, higher than the last week and the same week of 2014-2017(5.5%, 3.0%, 3.2%, 3.3%) (Figure1).
During week 1, ILI% at national sentinel hospitals in northern China was 5.8%, higher than the last week and the same week of 2014–2017(5.5%, 4.1%, 2.9% and 3.8%).
