Cooperation between Russia and China in the sphere of agriculture is strengthening, including in the area of ​​export of agricultural products from the Russian Federation. In 2018, exports of agricultural products from the Far Eastern Federal District to China amounted to $ 1.84 billion. This is 49% of the total export of agricultural products from the Far Eastern Federal District. The Russian side plans to increase exports of products to China. One of the tools for such development is the Plan for the Development of Agriculture in the Far East and the Baikal Region of Russia and the North-East of the People?s Republic of China, as well as protocols on mutual deliveries of milk and poultry meat, which were signed in November 2018 by the Chinese side already approved 90 Russian companies, ready to supply milk and poultry meat in China, the list includes companies from the Far East.
