　　The Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs was released on December 10 , and the African swine fever epidemic was detected in Shenmu City, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province and Baiyun District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province.
　　12 Yue 9 Ri 18 , the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas to the control center reported Chinese animal epidemic prevention, the China Animal Health and Epidemiology Center (National Center for Exotic Animal Disease Research) confirmed , Shenmu Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, a city of farmers, Guizhou A farmer in the Baiyun District of Guiyang City in the province has detected the African swine fever epidemic. Up to now, Shenmu City farmers herds of pigs 33 heads incidence of 19 head and died 19 headers. There are 26 live pigs in the Baiyun District , with 5 heads and 5 deaths .
　　Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a steering group to the local area. The local government has started the emergency response mechanism as required, and adopted measures such as blockade, culling, harmless treatment, disinfection, etc., to treat all the sick and culled pigs harmlessly. At the same time, all pigs and their products are prohibited from being transferred out of the blockade, and pigs are prohibited from being transported into the blockade. At present, the above measures have been implemented.

BEIJING (Reuters) - China?s agriculture ministry said on Monday it will ban pig farming in areas inhabited by wild boars...

The ministry said last month a strain of the virus found in a wild boar was different from the one circulating among pigs, and it warned of the risks of an additional strain infecting its domestic herd.

　　The Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs was released on December 12 , and the African swine fever epidemic was detected in Bazhou District, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, and Datong County, Xining City, Qinghai Province. 　　At 11:00 on December 12, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center and was diagnosed by the China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology (National Center for Animal Disease Research) . Bazhou District, Qinghai Province, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province One farmer in Datong County, Xining City, detected the African swine fever epidemic. Up to now, the pig breeding herds households Bazhou District 117 head onset 51 head and died 19 Tou; Datong County, the farmers herds of pigs 69 heads incidence of 14 head and died 14 headers.
　　Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a steering group to the local area. The local government has started the emergency response mechanism as required, and adopted measures such as blockade, culling, harmless treatment, disinfection, etc., to treat all the sick and culled pigs harmlessly. At the same time, all pigs and their products are prohibited from being transferred out of the blockade, and pigs are prohibited from being transported into the blockade. At present, the above measures have been implemented.

　　At 14:00 on December 16, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Center for Animal Disease Control and Prevention, and was diagnosed by the China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology (National Center for Animal Disease Research), and a farmer in Yanting County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. The outbreak in Zhuhai city in Guangdong province killed 11 animals in a slaughterhouse, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs said on its website.

Guangdong is a major pork consuming region and heavily relies on supplies from other provinces. The first outbreak of the disease reported there will likely further push up prices in the region, analysts said...
