　　Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Press Office 10 Yue 30 released, Yangqu County, Shanxi Province, Yuanling County, Hunan Province and Yunnan Province, Simao District Pu'er City, the African swine fever outbreak occurred. 　　10 Yue 30 Ri 12 , the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas to the control center reported Chinese animal epidemic prevention, the China Animal Health and Epidemiology Center (National Center for Exotic Animal Disease Research) diagnosed, Taiyuan Yangqu County farmers, A farmer in Fuling County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province, and a farmer in Simao District, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, each had an African swine fever epidemic. Up to now, there are 210 live pigs in Yangqu County, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province , with 75 heads and 47 deaths . There are 144 live pigs in Fuling County, Huaihua City, Hunan Province , with 25 diseases and 22 deaths ; Pu'er County , Yunnan Province There are 36 pigs in the city of Simao District , with 5 heads and 1 death .
　　Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a steering group to the local area. The local government has started the emergency response mechanism as required, and adopted measures such as blockade, culling, harmless treatment, disinfection, etc., to treat all the sick and culled pigs harmlessly. At the same time, all pigs and their products are prohibited from being transferred out of the blockade, and pigs are prohibited from being transported into the blockade . At present, the above epidemic has been effectively disposed of.

Chinese Authorities Suspected of Hiding Possible Spread of African Swine Fever

A recent video circulating online that shows empty stands at a town market in China?s south-central Hunan Province is being interpreted as an indication that African swine fever (ASF) may have spread there.

Chinese authorities, however, appear to be seeking to keep the public in the dark.

A video posted to Twitter on Oct. 28 claimed to show a large-scale agricultural trading market in Jishou County, Furong Township in Hunan Province. There, the stands were all full, except for those where pork is sold, according to the Twitter post.

　　The news office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs was released on November 3, and the western pig plague was detected in Xilingjing Township, Yangqu County, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province.
　　At 12:00 on November 3, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs received a report from the China Animal Disease Prevention and Control Center and was diagnosed by the China Center for Animal Health and Epidemiology (National Center for Animal Disease Research). Xilingjing Township, Yangqu County, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. A farmer has detected the African swine fever. The farmer has 47 pigs, 25 onset and 7 deaths.
　　Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a steering group to the local area. The local authorities have started the emergency response mechanism as required, and adopted measures such as blockade, culling, harmless treatment, disinfection, etc., to treat all the dead and culled pigs harmlessly. At the same time, all pigs and their products are prohibited from being transferred out of the blockade area. It is forbidden to transport pigs into the blockade area. The above epidemic has been effectively disposed of.

　　The Information Office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs was released on November 5 , and the Baojing County of Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hunan Province detected the African swine fever epidemic. 　　11 Yue 5 Ri 9 , the Ministry of agriculture and rural areas to the control center reported Chinese animal epidemic prevention, the China Animal Health and Epidemiology Center (National Center for Exotic Animal Disease Research) confirmed, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture Baojing County Farmers have been able to detect African swine fever. The farmer has 119 pigs , 11 diseases and 4 deaths .
　　Immediately after the outbreak, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs sent a steering group to the local area. The local government has started the emergency response mechanism as required, and adopted measures such as blockade, culling, harmless treatment, disinfection, etc., to treat all the sick and culled pigs harmlessly. At the same time, all pigs and their products are prohibited from being transferred out of the blockade, and pigs are prohibited from being transported into the blockade. At present, the above epidemic has been effectively disposed of.
