Just saw a piece of news, according to the release of the Institute of Semiconductors, Chinese Academy of Sciences, academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, researcher of the Institute of Semiconductors of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mr. Wang Wei, a famous semiconductor optoelectronics scientist in my country, was invalid due to illness. Unfortunately, at 18:11 on January 26, 2023 Passed away in Beijing at the age of 86. Preliminary statistics show that 5 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 10 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering have passed away this year, compared with only a few in January last year.
