Sichuan Zigong diagnosed a case of H7N9 avian flu :previously sold live birds

On May 20, Ziliujing district government in Zigong city, Sichuan Province announced that a case of H7N9 avian influenza was diagnosed in the Ziliujing district of Zigong City, after confirmation by the experimental examination of Sichuan provincial CDC. This was the first case of H7N9 infection diagnosed in Zigong City.
Patient is receiving isolation therapy in West China Hospital, Sichuan University, and his current condition is stable.

Age: 44 years old
Occupation: Engaged in live poultry sales in the farmer?s market for many years.
