Today (September 20), the Xiamen Municipal Government of Fujian Province held a press conference on epidemic prevention and control to introduce the latest situation.
As of 24:00 on September 19, Tongan District had reported 129 confirmed cases and set up 74 lockdown points. Tong'an District has issued 14 notices successively, adopting strict control measures to prevent the spread of the epidemic and spillover.
In response to the problem of insufficient medical personnel, the Fujian Provincial Command has coordinated Fuzhou, Sanming, Longyan, Nanping, Ningde and other cities to send reinforcements, and they will arrive in Xiamen one after another.
