Curico College suspended classes after girl's death from meningitis

Palestine School Curico ordered the suspension of classes to allow epidemiological operating rule in order to further infections of meningitis after a 11 year old girl died from the disease.
The chemical samples carried the body of Francisca Ayala Camila Escudero and were referred to the Public Health Institute (ISP) for analysis.
The Health SEREMI Sofia Ruz explained that from these studies should be clarity on suspicion of meningococcal meningitis.
"There is a viral and bacterial meningitis, then we are identifying with the culture results of what was. But it's really meningitis is very serious and rapid evolution, so it is suspected to be due to meningococcus" said.
After the death of the girl ordered a plan of prevention of infection and delivery of treatment to their relatives.
