Situation update, 7 June 2023

In 2023, as of 7 June, 214 317 cases and 281 deaths have been reported.

The majority of cases have been reported from Brazil (124 270), Paraguay (85 889), Argentina (1 336), Bolivia (1 233) and Thailand (453).

Deaths have been reported from Brazil (25) and Paraguay (256).

No autochthonous cases have been reported in Europe in 2023. ...
