321803 suspected and 150645 confirmed cases (with 150384 locally transmitted and 263 imported -travel related- cases) reported by PAHO for 2016. The majority of suspected and confirmed cases were reported by the Brazilian MOH, maybe due to increased surveillance of mosquito transmitted viruses following the emergence of ZIKV.
