Lisa Renee Thornhill-Sarkela

Lisa entered this world on April 4, 1973 at Hill AFB, Utah and left it on December 8, 2009, after a valiant battle with H1N1 virus, at Enloe Hospital in Chico, California with her parents at her side.
Lisa leaves behind one son Xander Rene Sarkela , age 5, parents Chuck and Sue Thornhill of Ukiah, Lisa also leaves sisters Stephanie (Matt) Dunken, of Ukiah, Tina (Mike) Leslie of Sparks, Nevada, Mandy (Robert Hamblen of Hidden Valley, California. Grandmother Rose Lewis Foster of Willits, and uncles Lucien (Colleen) Thornhill, of Ukiah and Rick (Donna) Lewis of Willits and one aunt Dede (Jerry) Johnson of Tuscarora, Nevada, 4 nieces, 1 nephew and numerous cousins. Lisa also leaves her boyfriend
Michael Glenn and his daughter Tyler of Orville, California.
Lisa will be missed for her big smile, quick wit and bright blue eyes. Lisa never met a stranger, loved everyone she met and was adored by all those who knew her.
Visitation will be at the Eversole Mortuary on Friday, December 11, 2009 from 12 noon to 5 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM and on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 9 AM to 5 PM. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 2 PM at the Eversole Mortuary.
In lieu of flowers the family request you make a donation to your favorite charity. Also donations can be made at the Savings Bank of Mendocino County to the Xander Sarkela Trust Fund.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Eversole Mortuary.
