The epidemiological situation of the coronavirus disease of this Monday, August 17, 2020 is as follows:
- 845 samples analyzed;
- 3 confirmed cases in N'Djamena;
- 0 cured, the total remains at 865;
- 0 deaths, total deaths 76;
- 18 patients under treatment.

The number of cases confirmed since March 10, 2020 is 959, including 236 women in 15 provinces.

- 11 confirmed cases: 2 in N'Djamena and 9 in Logone Occidental, contacts of 2 cases on August 14, 2020;
- 0 cured, the total remains at 865;
- 0 deaths, total deaths 76;
- 29 patients under treatment.

The number of cases confirmed since March 19, 2020 is 970, including 239 women in 15 provinces.

The national health response coordination announced on August 20 a new confirmed case in N’Djamena out of 277 samples tested, one cure and no death.

N’Djamena recorded this Thursday, August 20, a new case of coronavirus contamination. This announcement brings the total number of contamination to 972 confirmed cases including 869 recoveries and 76 deaths. 27 patients are under treatment to date.

The press release signed by Choua Ouch?mi, national coordinator of the health response, calls on the population to be calm, vigilant, solidarity and reminds them to respect the barrier gestures essential to thwart the spread of the pandemic.
