CDC warns of grilling danger: swallowing steel bristles

It makes you wince just thinking about it: swallowing a steel bristle from a grill-cleaning brush.

Last week, the Centers for Disease Control warned of a rise in emergency room visits caused by bristles from grill brushes....

Just heard about these local stories. Be careful. Maybe a 'bad batch' of brushes in on the market with poorly secured bristles.

Tacoma man not alone with grill brush horror story

Metal bristles show up in food -- and it's not the first time

I was wondering how grill bristles could end up in someone's eggs as reported in the last story, then saw that they used grill 'drippings' to fry the eggs.
