Three food recalls issued in Alberta

EDMONTON - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency announced recalls Saturday on certain sprouted seed products due to health concerns over possible salmonella contamination and also on certain imitation meat and coconut candy products regarding undeclared ingredients.
Seven kinds of Advantage Health Matters and Back 2 The Garden sprouted chia seed products, including Organic Traditions chia products, are included in the recall because of possible salmonella contamination. There have been reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products. The recall was triggered by a CFIA investigation into an outbreak of food-borne illness...
