Four more products at the Maple Leaf Foods Toronto plant at the centre of a listeria outbreak that killed 20 people have tested positive for listeria.
But the company says no food has been distributed and there is no risk to the public.
More than 5,000 product tests have been completed, with only four positive findings for Listeria monocytogenes, it said.
Maple Leaf president Michael McCain said their testing protocols were designed to find positive results so they can be dealt with and corrected immediately.
The plant was closed in August after the outbreak and thousands of products were recalled. It was reopened on Sept. 17 in a highly controlled and phased in approach, the company said.
