Can you share what you are thankful for- as we address this pandemic?

Maybe it's the time of year. That late summer with early fall cool evenings. When the nesting syndrome hits- and one starts to dig in for the much much cooler winter. Only this year, we will be digging in with the realization that the pandemic looms close. Even so, I find myself being thankful. And so, I thought others may be experiencing the same. I, apparently, feel the need to put pen to paper. :o Others may choose just to sit quiet with themselves. Either way is probably restorative.

I am very thankful to know so many good workers are working day and night to get at and stay on top of this massive health care issue- avian flu pandemic. That's my serious side.

I am also thankful that I obtained some of that very good dark chocolate this past week to add to my preps. Someday, my serotonin/ dopamine levels may need their boost. :o

I am thankful for "God given time"

Re: Can you share what you are thankful for- as we address this pandemic?

I'm thankful for this communication medium that allows us to effective research and communicate globally.

Where would this effort be without the Internet?

Re: Can you share what you are thankful for- as we address this pandemic?

I am thankful for the series of events that led to us leaving the city several years ago and moving to our little corner of the world. For living without ANY electricity for six years and for all the things I learned during that time.
Most of all I am thankful for my husband; my co-prepper, pardner, best friend.

Re: Can you share what you are thankful for- as we address this pandemic?

I am thankful for the God Given time with my family. For the support of my husband, thru all of the time I have spent away from him, in a room on the computer. For his listening to all of what I have learned, my fears, and the reasonable advice, he gives.

Re: Can you share what you are thankful for- as we address this pandemic?

I'm thankful for life and God who gave us all this. I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to share what I have received with others as well as to learn so much from others about how to prepare heart, mind, home, life and soul not just for a medical crisis but for a more whole and holy way of life. I'm thankful for all those who came before me that have blessed me with their knowledge, hope and wisdom as well as their love, gifts and care. Even in all the challenges and struggles I?m thankful.

Re: Can you share what you are thankful for- as we address this pandemic?

There are so very many things I am thankful for. Family, dear friends, and my co-workers here at Flutrackers. I am eternally grateful for the time I am given, the era I was born in and, the opportunity to serve. I am blessed with a fairly keen mind, a questing nature and a dogged determination to find answers, all of wich I thank the PTB every day. I am also cognizant of my ability to buy the things I need to ensure the future for family and a few friends. All of these things mean I have a cup that truly does runneth over. SMB

Whoooohoooo:
  • for the internet,
  • for family,
  • good friends,
  • scientists willing to question the current prevalent paradigm of viral evolution,
  • good people who work hard to seek out and share information, including, but not limited to
...friendly little pit bull among us,
    ...dyslexic out'o'the'box thinkers,
    ...Alaskan isolates with dialup,
    ...Turkish translators,
...NewZealand night watchman and woman... or day watchman and woman
    ...list keepers and table makers;
...even the ones with the funny frankopile/file/not a trial? accents,
...even a french speaking owl that flies,... and last but not least,
  • for vision and those with the ability to persist and make vision real.
Whoooohoooo

(hands clasped)
And I promise if the rain wins the race with the fire that's approaching our wilderness ranch that I will be a veeeeeery good girl from here on out!

Amen or Awomen as the case may be...
(hands unclasped)

Anybody ever had any success with such bargains?

Ain't life grand!

Re: Can you share what you are thankful for- as we address this pandemic?

I am deeply gratefull for the time that is been granthed to us prior to this pandemic. I am gratefull that we have the priviledge to see it coming. I am happilly gratefull to be able to get knowledge on these problems, on how to prep and on how to cope. I am personnaly touch to have the priviledge to meet via the internet and the real world, people who dare to care for them, their near ones and the others. I am gratefull that so many people give their time, share their expertise, bring forth their ideas and sustain hope and confidence. I am gratefull to those who do not turn inward but dare to come out and ask for help and make others look for pertinent and viable solutions.

To all of those, a sincere, profound and eternal thanks.

I am thankful for my husband, my children and being raised in a family of medical professionals, even though I decided to be a rebel and go to business school instead. Thank you to all who have put so much energy and time into helping other so they too may be prepared.

Re: Can you share what you are thankful for- as we address this pandemic?

What am I thankful for? It is so hard to narrow down to one post.

I am thankful for the opportunity to serve.

I am humbled by the response of the world’s citizens to this project and the light seen by many that motivates them to participate here.

I am thankful for the compassion shown by the members for their fellow man. Many donate endless hours to illuminate the threat faced by humanity.

I am thankful that so many recognize the basic truths of grace, dignity and respect for all souls.

I am thankful for my friends, co-workers, and both of my families who see the hope of the future and the promise fulfilled.

Re: Can you share what you are thankful for- as we address this pandemic?

Oh, my goodness. It seems long ago now.

Think I want to start it again.

Today, I am thankful to those who had the vision for this site.

Today, I am thankful my daughter first made me aware there was a pressing concern regarding a possible bird flu pandemic.
It gave me time to prepare. It gave me time to gather information. It gave me the opportunity to meet some very generous people who have shared their skills, their time, their information.
Today, I do not feel the panic inside.

And today, I am thankful for the absolutely beautiful spring we are having on the East Coast. All the colors everywhere reinforcing how powerful and precious life is.

Re: Can you share what you are thankful for- as we address this pandemic?

I'm thankful for Eckahrdt Tolle's books - emphasizing all we have is now and how to be more mindful of the present instead of letting our mind steal it from us......
