California Realtor Assoc. reports increase in home sales month-over-month and year-over-year

California Realtor association credits a better economy for higher median price for homes in March. It is a matter of supply and demand. Increased demand will raise prices. Demand has to overcome the tax credit of 2010 to register an improvement. This suggests a significant driver. It remains to be seen if this becomes a trend.

"..Improvement in the overall economy and favorable market condition led to increases in both California home sales and median sale price in March, according to the California Association of Realtors.


The organization reported home sales up 3.1% over February and up 1.5% compared to March 2010, to an annualized rate of 514,090 homes..."
