Tuberculosis Exposures at Santana High School, Kearny Mesa Detention Facility
The San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency is working to notify and test those who may have have been exposed to TB

The San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) reported Friday that both Santana High School and Kearny Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility have had recent tuberculosis exposures.

HHSA said students and staff at Santana High School were potentially exposed to a person with TB between February 15 and June 1.

HHSA along with the Grossmont Union School District will provide TB testing at Santana High School on June 12.

Meanwhile, at Kearny Mesa Juvenile Detention Facility, detainees and staff may have been exposed to an individual diagnosed with TB between May 18-20, May 25-28 and on June 1, according to HHSA...
