SACRAMENTO (CBS13) ? County health officials confirm that a Sacramento-area high school student has been diagnosed with active tuberculosis.

According to the Sacramento County Health and Human Services, the student attends Florin High School. Officials have already sent off a letter to parents alerting them about the case...

The Sacramento Bee reports Friday the 16 will undergo X-rays to determine whether they have the active or latent form of the contagious disease...
