As of July 24, 2020, the situation of Coronavlrus disease in Burkina Faso is as follows:

186 samples analyzed, divided into:

68 voluntary screening tests;

61 traveler tests

32 contact case tests

05 suspected case tests

20 control tests;

Number of new confirmed cases: 14 including 05 imported cases and 09 with community transmissions (05 in Ouagadougou, 03 in Fada N Gourma and 01 in Hound?);

Number of healings. 03, bringing the total healings to 926;

Number of deaths 00. total deaths 53;

Number of active cases: 121;

Number of cases confirmed since March 9, 2020: 1,100 including 388 women and 712 men.

The government thanks all stakeholders for their commitment and determination in the fight against COVID-19.

The government is urging everyone to exercise discipline and responsibility to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus disease.
