Sofia Is on Verge of Hepatitis A Epidemic

There is an outbreak of hepatitis A in Sofia, GPs alarmed. The statistics of the regional health inspection shows that morbidity rate has increased dramatically during the last week ? 58 patients were hospitalized with Hepatis A diagnose.
Hepatitis A is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis A virus and it can affect anyone, the Health Ministry informed, pointing out that the last hepatitis A outbreak was registered in 1999...
