Addu City, Maldives – A case of measles has been confirmed from Addu City, Maldives today.
Health Protection Agency (HPA) announced the outbreak today, detailing that the patient is a minor. Additional details revealed that an additional case of measles has also been identified in the city and that relevant contact tracing and testing efforts are underway. This patient is also a child, says HPA.
Addu Equatorial Hospital (AEH) is now in the process of identifying the cause of the infection, and providing vaccination for those who need it. ...
