After to register 13 deaths in one week, the Ministry of Health announced in this Tuesday that it will reinforce the measures of control against the flu A (H1N1), disease that already did 108 victims in this year. Most of the cases were registered in the South Region of the Country, where approximately 1,8 thousand persons contracted this disease from January.

The Ministry of Health confirmed what the incidence of the flu increased during these last weeks and, principally, with the winter arrival, which stretches out up to the day 21 of September. In the last eight days, nine persons died because of the virus H1N1 in the state of the Paran?, while another four deaths were registered in Rio Grande do Sul, situated regions near to triple frontier with Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
According to the authorities, the South Region of the Country received in the last days around 2 million doses of the vaccine against this flu, which they will be distributed firstly between the called ' group of risk ', which includes pregnant, patient women of chronic and childish diseases of 6 months to 2 years.
