The beginning of the year until this Wednesday (29), 71 cases of persons with suspected infection with influenza virus H1N1, which causes swine flu, were recorded in the whole of the State. In little more than a month, the cases practically doubled. Bulletin released today by the State Department of Health (SES) reveals that the number of notifications has jumped from 36, as disclosed in the last bulletin last month, to 71. An increase of 97 %.
As well as in our previous newsletter, only one case was confirmed, in the Capital. Campo Grande is the city that concentrates most of the cases so far, 59. Complete the ranking the cities of Saint Gabriel of the West (3), Corumba (2), Anastasius (2) and Aquidauana, Bandeirantes, Caarap?, Sidrolandia and Tacuru, with one record each one.
