Bahia on alert after three die from meningitis

The Health Department of the State of Bahia (Sesab) confirmed on Sunday (11) that three victims died of meningococcal type C and four others were hospitalized due to illness, in Costa do Sauipe, this week. The first case was reported by Sesab on September 4 and all the victims were employees of the hotel complex, which has a total of 1,800 employees. The names of the hotels where they worked, however, were not disclosed. It is not known if they worked in only one of five major hotels, inns or the six that form the complex, leased or were in different units, which belong to some of the largest hotel in the world. We know only that two men and a woman are the casualties.
