Laboratory studies to Bolivian footballers who played with Chile to discard human influenza

LA PAZ-The Ministry of Health of Bolivia announced Thursday that samples of suspected human influenza Bolivian footballers disputed last week before a match in Santiago, Chile by the fourteenth day of the South American qualifying for the World South Africa-2010.
The measure involves players Bolivar, Ignacio Garcia and Abdon Reyes, according to unconfirmed local press, upon learning that a Chilean Rodrigo Millar, owner in the 'Red' in that game, tested positive to influenza AH1N1.
For precautionary "are taking appropriate action, after coordinating with the president of the Federation and the president of Bolivar, we have sent our staff to take samples," he told reporters Health Minister Ramiro Tapia.
Tapia called the media "not alarmed" by these "measures of anticipation," taken "as the protocol and the results will be known soon.
Players who had physical contact with the Chilean Rodrigo Millar must undergo medical examinations and laboratory, he said.
Bolivia so far recorded 14 cases of swine flu, and no fatalities.
