July 22, 2011 ? Bobby Salazar?s Mexican Foods, a Fowler, Calif., establishment, is recalling approximately 2,560 pounds of chopped beef products produced without the benefit of federal inspection, the U.S. Department of Agriculture?s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The following product is subject to recall:
16-lb. cases containing 4-lb. bags of ?CARNE ASADA CHOPPED BEEF &
TEXTURED WHEAT PROTEIN IN RED HOT SAUCE?
Each bag bears the establishment number ?21269? inside the USDA mark of inspection. The products were produced on April 19, 2011 and May 11, 2011, and shipped to a distributor and restaurants in California for further distribution...
