Just out of curiousity, how many of the doctors who've died of COVID-19 thought masks were "safe?''
Masks might well make a SARS-CoV-2 filled environment "safer,'' but compared to PAPR, it's hard to argue masks make that environment "safe.''
And then there is the complicated real world.
Why single out this poor, dead doctor for thinking masks dangerous? Depending on how they affect behavior, he might have had a point: https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers....act_id=3676570

I think it is wrong to highlight this doctor in a journal. Is this scientific bashing? Very unprofessional and cruel.
