The port health services JKIA has been notified by WHO of an Ebola suspect who flew in one hour ago on board flight KQ503. The passenger had been isolated in ACCRA GHANA and was suppose to be subjected to series of confirmatory test which he has not undergone as required.
The passenger who is a sierra leone passport holder Annold Abisodun Crispin Temple of Passport No E0024993. He claims to be a CNN reporter based in Nairobi. He said that he was arriving back after covering EBOLA case in Sierra Leone.
Kenya Airways was supposed to park the aircraft in remote parking to facilitate port health personnel to carry out prompt action. KQ bosses are refusing to heed this.

Robert Alai is a notable blogger in Kenya (link). He cites his information from a source at the Kenya Airport Authority (KAA). He would have posted the FB note at about 10:30 am Saturday September 6, 2014 (local Kenya time). Flight KQ503 is a daily scheduled flight with a departure from Accra, Ghana (ACC) at 9:05 pm local time with arrival in Nairobi (NBO) at JKIA about 5 ? hours later at 5:40 am. According to the above media report this traveler had already arrived in Nairobi on Saturday morning when Alai posted his note. Assuming the information is correct, we should be hearing more about this how this suspected case is handled by the Kenya government.

He got the story mostly right, but missed the negative test results and also confused Liberia for Sierra Leone:

However, CNN denied the report, stating: "A CNN team travelled from Nairobi to Liberia to cover the Ebola outbreak.

"The cameraman developed a fever after leaving Liberia and as a precaution was tested by the WHO in Ghana. These tests came back negative and he was cleared by the WHO to travel back to Kenya.

"According to WHO protocol, a second test is recommended 72 hours after the first test. The cameraman followed the WHO protocol exactly, and upon arrival in Nairobi a second test was conducted.

"This second test also confirmed negative and the cameraman has now been completely cleared beyond any doubt."

I remember CNN news crews going into the West Point quarantine zone without any protection. People were crowding them. It wouldn't surprise me if one of them was exposed.

Alarmingly, these reporters are not in any kind of protective gear! Someone should tell CNN to suit up their reporters and hopefully they wont fly anywhere!"

Interesting, Alert. I saw that Ibtimes article yesterday, but at the time it agreed with the Today NG article and didn't include the reportedly CNN sourced denials.

World Health Organisation informs Kenyan port health that Kenya Airways passenger may be infected with Ebola

The Kenyan port health services have been notified by the World Health Organisation (Who) that a passenger of a Kenya Airways flight may be infected with Ebola.

The passenger was isolated in Accra, Ghana's capital city. It's alleged by Robert Alai, a prominent Kenyan blogger, that the passenger was supposed to have been subjected to a series of test which he has not undergone.

According to the report, the passenger claims to be a CNN journalist based in Nairobi. He said that he was arriving back in Kenya after covering the Ebola crisis in Sierra Leone.

On 19 August, the Kenyan government temporarily suspended passengers from Ebola-affected countries including Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia, from entering the country.

Kenya's health cabinet secretary James Macharia said: "This step is in line with the recognition of the extraordinary measures urgently required to contain the Ebola in West Africa.
