In Odesa, the waters of the bay turned dark red. Photos of the large-scale phenomenon were published by the Odesa public figure and biologist Vladyslav Balinsky on hisFacebook page.

According to him, this is one of the largest red tides in the entire history of observation.

... "The poison dissolves in water, is included in food chains and accumulates in fish, molluscs, crustaceans, evaporates into the atmosphere," he wrote.
