To contribute to efforts in combating avian influenza or bird flu, the Biotechnology Study Center of Gadjah Mada University in Yogyakarta will hold a seminar and training from Dec. 13 to Dec. 15.
Themed: Bird Flu: Anticipate Influenza Pandemic. Molecular Biology Approach, Pathogen, Management and Control, the committee will only accommodate 200 participants for the seminar and 30 participants for the training.
The participants will discuss the latest knowledge and research on the avian influenza virus, both in animals and humans.
The registration fee is Rp 2.5 million for each participant for the seminar and training and Rp 500,000 for the seminar only.
