This is nuts. Karo again? 6 family members again? There must be like some cats or pigs or mice in that area carrying around a very human virus. And they continue to say that chickens have it, but don't publish the chickens' sequences. I really hope that it's not this virus that has reached Thailand, because there are just way too many suspected cases in Thailand for it to be ordinary. My Thailand map doesn't even do justice to it any more.

Thanks so much T. You're clearing it up for me. They were secretly culling like mad on 27 July. The farmers weren't reporting any dead birds, but the birds tested positive. What this simply means is very logical---These six family members didn't just all become sick today. One or two of them have probably been sick for 8 or 9 days. When the second one became sick, they probably began the massive culling. Now that 6 of them have become sick, they're finally reporting it. It may genuinely be an H2H cluster, and everyone is focused on random chickens.

No, none of them have been confirmed yet as far as I can tell. I think the "confirmed" in this sentence just means that Dr. Ginting confirmed that there were bf suspects admitted to RSU Kabanjahe hospital.

I took this to mean that RSU Kabanjahe hospital does not have the facilities to treat bf patients (i.e. isolation rooms, etc.) and that's why these patients were transferred to RSUP Adam Malik (which is in Medan, I think).

Dedek Sitepu [Des] (6) - most sick according to paternal aunt Lina - Dedek has had a cough for a week - the other two just got fevers yesterday (July 31) - one of the docs said they've all had a fever since Saturday (July 29)

The condition of the 3 below is reportedly not as serious as the other 3. And, they are still in Kabanjahe Public Hospital, Karo?

on second map look at 123 263. there is dolok singgalang (singgalang mountain) the actual village isn't listed, my guess is it is where the road forks. these maps are incredible, however some of the features are from 1943.
