8 dead, four ill due after consuming sattu

Eight persons lost their lives and four others were taken ill after consuming contaminated sattu (mixed cereal flour) today at Rajabazar locality in Bihar's Jehanabad district, police said.

About a dozen persons, mostly daily wage labourers, purchased sattu from a road-side shop and fell ill soon after eating it, Superintendent of Police, Harpreet Kaur said.
