In order to effectively improve the hospital's safety prevention and emergency response capabilities, protect the life and property of medical staff and patients, and create a safe and orderly diagnosis and treatment environment, on the morning of July 3, Beijing Tiantan Hospital organized an observation activity on emergency response drills to prevent medical injuries, and invited relevant leaders and experts from the Occupational Safety and Health Research Center of the National Health Commission, the Internal Security Bureau of Fengtai Public Security Bureau, the Public Security Detachment of Fengtai Public Security Bureau and the Fanjiacun Police Station of Fengtai Public Security Bureau to provide guidance.
The Security and Stability Department, Medical Department, Rehabilitation Medicine Department, Publicity Center, and Beijing Tiantan Hospital Police Studio participated in the full-process drill. Medical staff representatives from clinical departments and project leaders from third-party service units watched the drill online in real time in Conference Room 101 of the Administrative and Research Building.
This drill simulated a medical emergency in the rehabilitation department. After receiving the alarm, medical staff, duty officers of the safety and stability department, security guards, and police officers stationed in the hospital responded quickly and coordinated in accordance with the emergency response process, achieving the expected response effect.
After the drill, two experts from the Occupational Safety and Health Research Center of the National Health Commission and the Internal Security Bureau of the Fengtai Public Security Bureau gave on-site comments. The experts affirmed the representativeness of the simulated scene, on-site command, response speed, and handling process, and put forward guiding opinions on handling emergencies in accordance with laws and regulations, paying attention to handling details, and strengthening safety prevention publicity and training for all employees.
Hou Jing, director of the Security and Stability Department, made a concluding speech, saying that they would take this simulation exercise as an opportunity to summarize practical experience, absorb expert opinions, continue to strengthen the construction of the security prevention system, continuously improve the emergency response plan, and continue to work hard to strengthen the practical training of security personnel in emergency response and the cultivation of safety awareness among all employees, so as to provide patients and medical staff with more solid and reliable safety guarantees.
