I don't see any number associated with this article, but I believe just a week ago Egypt had 3 individual that were infected with H5N1. This is a good example of the "mixing vessel" that we all fear.

Could it be possible that Egypt slaughtered all their pigs in an attempt to try and avoid H1N1 and H5N1 from mixing?
