After almost 24 hours of work, personnel from the Mexican Navy Mexico Navy floated a whale humpback about a year old, 9.40 meters long and weighing six tons, which was stranded on the beach Eden , south of Punta Campos, in Manzanillo .
The rescue operation began on Saturday after a fisherman alerted about the presence of whales in the vicinity of Punta Campos.
The Commander of the Sixth Naval Region, seconded Manzanillo, ordered biologists, specialists in underwater work and marines, support the whale to return to the sea.
