Case of tuberculosis confirmed in Greater Victoria

A person with tuberculosis stayed at two Victoria hostels in early March, according to Island Health.

The health authority said Thursday that a case of tuberculosis was confirmed at Royal Jubilee Hospital but is not naming the hostels at which the infected person stayed.

Island Health says it has sent letters to staff and visitors advising them to visit a doctor for tuberculosis screening in case of exposure...
