British Columbia reported 324 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, along with seven additional deaths.

The update lowered B.C.’s seven-day average for new cases to 418 and left the province with 3,380 active cases, the lowest both figures have been in 14 weeks.

British Columbia reported 468 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, along with nine additional deaths as the effects of flooding and landslide threatened to interrupt vaccine deliveries.

The update saw the province’s seven-day average for new cases fall to 410, and left B.C. with 3,345 active cases...

...There were 355 active cases in hospital, including 110 in critical or intensive care...

...It said the 22 per cent of British Columbians who weren’t fully vaccinated accounted for 60.4 per cent of cases over the last week and 70.3 per cent of hospitalizations over the past two weeks.

Earlier Thursday, Pfizer warned that the devastating floods and landslides that have virtually isolated B.C.’s Lower Mainland would result in delays of COVID-19 vaccine shipments to the province...

Health officials reported 1,052 new cases of COVID-19 in British Columbia over the past three days, along with 10 deaths.

There were 390 cases from Friday to Saturday, while 332 cases were reported from Saturday to Sunday, and 330 from Sunday to Monday...

...The new case counts bring the province’s seven-day average for daily cases down to 383, the lowest since Aug. 10.

The number of people in hospital with COVID-19 declined to 337. Of those, 115 patients are in intensive care, an increase of six from Friday.

COVID-19: Another 324 new cases recorded in B.C. along with one death

Another 324 cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in British Columbia along with one additional death, health officials said Tuesday...

...The province has recorded fewer than 400 daily cases four days in a row and in eight of the last 10 days.

The seven-day rolling average of B.C.’s positivity rates is 3.4 per cent, the lowest number since Aug. 5.

The one death in the Northern Health region puts B.C.’s COVID-19 death toll at 2,304.

People who are not fully vaccinated accounted for 58.4 per cent of cases from Nov. 15 to 21 and 69 per cent of hospitalizations from Nov. 8 to 21, the province reported.

There are 345 people in hospital with the disease, of which 115 are in intensive care.

There are 3,047 active cases in the province...

B.C. health officials announced 322 new cases of COVID-19 and nine more deaths on Wednesday.

In a written statement, the provincial government said there are currently 3,015 active cases of people infected with the novel coronavirus in B.C.

A total of 318 people are in hospital, with 109 in intensive care.

Overall hospitalizations, which typically lag behind spikes and dips in new cases, are down by 16 per cent from last Wednesday, when 379 people were in hospital with the disease.

The number of patients in intensive care is the same as a week ago.

The provincial death toll from COVID-19 is now 2,313 lives lost out of 216,334 confirmed cases to date...

British Columbia recorded another 970 cases of COVID-19 and 11 related deaths over the weekend, as the province's seven-day average for infections continued its downward trajectory.

The latest numbers, released Monday by the Ministry of Health, pushed the weekly average down to 304 case per day, the lowest it's been since Aug. 8.

B.C.'s active case count also fell to 2,827, marking the first time it's dropped below 3,000 in three months.

The number of infectious COVID-19 patients in hospital increased slightly to 303, while the number in intensive care remain static at 115...

As of Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2021, 84.8% (4,225,218) of eligible people five and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 81.7% (4,069,988) have received their second dose.
In addition, 91.1% (4,224,201) of eligible people 12 and older in B.C. have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, 87.8% (4,069,967) received their second dose, and 10% (418,428) have received a third dose.
Also, 91.5% (3,958,775) of all eligible adults in B.C. have received their first dose, and 88.3% (3,820,698) have received their second dose.
B.C. is reporting 358 new cases of COVID-19, including three epi-linked case, for a total of 218,426 cases in the province.
There are 2,889 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, and 213,053 people who tested positive have recovered. Of the active cases, 300 individuals are in hospital and 104 are in intensive care. The remaining people are recovering at home in self-isolation.
The new/active cases include:
  • 107 new cases in Fraser Health

British Columbia has recorded another 375 cases of COVID-19 and seven related deaths, the government announced Wednesday amid ongoing monitoring for the concerning new Omicron variant.

The update, provided in a written statement from the Ministry of Health, pushed the province's seven-day average for infections to 353 per day, up from 345 on Tuesday.

B.C.'s active case count also increased, to 2,936 from 2,889, while the number of infectious COVID-19 patients in hospital remained relatively flat at 301. The number of those patients in intensive care dropped to 98, marking the first time it's been below 100 since Aug. 30...

A total of 284 people are in hospital, with 97 in intensive care.

Overall hospitalizations, which typically lag behind spikes and dips in new cases, are down by 3.7 per cent from last Thursday, when 295 people were in hospital with the disease and about 36 per cent from a month ago when 445 people were in hospital.

The number of patients in intensive care is down by 13.3 per cent from 112 a week ago and by 29 per cent from last month when 137 people were in the ICU.

In a written statement, the provincial government said there are currently 2,876 active cases of people infected with the novel coronavirus in B.C.

A total of 241 people are in hospital, with 89 in intensive care.

The breakdown of new cases is as follows:

351 new cases from Friday to Saturday.
311 new cases from Saturday to Sunday.
284 new cases from Sunday to Monday.

Overall hospitalizations, which typically lag behind spikes and dips in new cases, are down by 20.5 per cent from last Monday, when 303 people were in hospital with the disease and about 45.3 per cent from a month ago when 441 people were in hospital.

The number of patients in intensive care is down by about 22.6 per cent from 115 a week ago and by 31 per cent from last month when 129 people were in the ICU.

B.C. records another 326 COVID cases and one more death in 24 hours

In the past 24 hours, British Columbia has recorded another 326 new cases of COVID-19.

In addition, a new death in the Northern Health region has been reported for an overall total of 2,363 fatalities since the start of the pandemic.

The number of active cases of the virus in the province is now 2,814.

Of the active cases, 242 individuals are currently in hospital and 82 are in intensive care. The remaining people are recovering at home in self-isolation, the province said.

Five cases of the Omicron variant of concern have been confirmed in B.C., three of which are in Vancouver Coastal Health and two in Fraser Health. All five cases are related to international travel.

From Nov. 29 to Dec. 5, people not fully vaccinated accounted for 58.7 per cent of cases. From Nov. 22 to Dec. 5, they accounted for 63.1 per cent of hospitalizations, the province said...
