WestJet Passengers Warned About Measles Exposure
The BC Centre of Disease Control has issued an alert for anyone who travelled from Calgary to Vancouver on a WestJet flight on Monday, January 18th.
WestJet flight WS 287 had a scheduled departure of 11:35 a.m. from Calgary and arrived in Vancouver at approximately 12:06 p.m. Passengers on this flight may have been exposed to measles as a passenger was ill with symptoms.
Laboratory results confirmed the illness as measles on January 26th and it is likely the passenger acquired measles while travelling in SE Asia...

VANCOUVER - Passengers on a flight from Beijing to Vancouver are being warned that they could be at risk of getting measles.
Vancouver Coastal Health says a person who arrived in the city on Air China Flight CA991 at 9:30 a.m. on March 3 later developed symptoms of measles and was infectious during the flight.
The health authority says anyone who was on the plane or in the international arrivals area at Vancouver's airport at that time should ensure they are up to do date with measles vaccinations...
