Imagine trying to track down what causes the death of every livestock animal......daunting task. It's good to see FAO checking reports.

According to him, the facts of mass death amongst birds or livestock have not been noted in this village.

?Investigations have been held in this district by the specialists of the Veterinary Service and specialists of U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization,? he said. These investigations showed that the death of one livestock and 3-4 birds was caused by poisoning and pasteuriloz. The State Veterinary Service announced these results as part of the recent monitoring, according to which there is no ?bird flu? in Azerbaijan.

All veterinary and border checkpoints are working on the strengthened working regime to prevent the spread of the virus in the country and the prohibition is continuing for hunting, sale and use of the wild birds in the country and import of bird products from countries sustained virus.

The IDPs are concerned that the mass death is caused by the ?bird flu? virus, Trend Regional Correspondent reports.

Although the IDPs held the vaccination of the birds, as yet there are no results. They have repeatedly appealed to the Barda Veterinary Department, but no measures have been taken.
Expressing his concern over the mass death of the birds, the Head of the Garatepe village municipality, Nizami Abbasov, said that he also appealed to the Barda Veterinary Department, but have been given false promises.
In response, the Head of the Barda Veterinary Department, Aydin Mammadov, stressed that they have not received any information regarding the mass death of the birds. Despite that the IDPs continue to living in the territory of Barda, the State has not allocated any finance for their medication. The IDPs should therefore appeal to the Veterinary Department at their own district.

All regions, including Barda, have received all the necessary medication against the threat of ?bird flu?,? he concluded.
