Azerbaijan: Covid-19 Cases - 38037 cases, 557 deaths

  • As of May 25, Azerbaijan has confirmed 4271 cases of COVID-19 within its borders. There have been 51 confirmed deaths.
  • All of Azerbaijan’s borders are currently closed to passenger traffic.

Azerbaijan reported 508 new coronavirus cases in one day to take the total case count to 13,715, according to the Operational Headquarters under the Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers. Six people died in the past 24 hours, with this bringing the tally to 167. A total of 6,045 patients are still under treatment and 7,503 recovered. Local health workers have tested 432,858 Azerbaijanis since the outbreak.

572 new cases of coronavirus infection have been recorded in Azerbaijan, while 364 patients have been recovered and discharged from the hospital, the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers told AZERTAC.

According to the Task Force, 8 persons have died after testing positive for COVID-19.

“The overall confirmed cases in Azerbaijan have reached 18,684 with 10,425 recoveries and 228 deaths.

Azerbaijan has detected 513 new COVID-19 cases, 440 patients have recovered and eight patients have died, Trend reports on July 6 citing the Operational Headquarters under Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers.

To date, 20,837 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected in the country, 12,182 patients have recovered, 258 people have died. Currently, 8,397 people are under treatment in special hospitals.
