???--------------

how many in hospital ?

to peak or not to peak

Re: Australian Govt Media Updates- pandemic phase PROTECT

You don't need to know that. The worst has passed we can 'all go home' now.

Re: Australian Govt Media Updates- pandemic phase PROTECT

You don't need to know that. The worst has passed we can 'all go home' now.
I don't agree with you. I think the worst is still ahead, and IMHO, far worse. I do hope that you are right, though. I'd whether wear a dunce cap for a month or any other humiliating act that be right - or even close.

Re: Australian Govt Media Updates- pandemic phase PROTECT

#145: "The worst has passed we can 'all go home' now."

Not that easy, unfortunately.

This bug remains in Mexico, and all subsequent infected countries with steady spreading, which continue.

The capacity of the world recipients humans are stil enormous, so it could continue to spread at least at this actual frequency.

By more recent aquisitions interfering with treatments, and picking up seasonal or other flu characteristics, it could became nastier.

As by the GW theory of one prolonged wave, from shore to shore, with additional possible new waves outbreaks.

Even an eventual (not aspected) fading now, will represent only a calm before the next storm.
This is an flu virus, now pandemic, so even if miraculously vanishing, it will upgrade itself as an seasonal continuation.

It spread sustainable in warm and cold places at once.

It is better to forgot bets of vanishing now.

Re: Australian Govt Media Updates- pandemic phase PROTECT

Sorry - it went right over my head. :oem

Re: Australian Govt Media Updates- pandemic phase PROTECT

LOL Mordan - I recognized your sarcasm - I have teenagers!:D

The layout in these media reports has varied from time to time. It is possible the hospitalisations will be in the next media release. Given that several hospitals have had to close to new admissions - I am not sure we have reached a peak yet!
