Swine flu scaremongering 'causing extra work'
The head of the Emergency Department at Sydney's St Vincents Hospital says people are being frightened and scared unnecessarily by swine flu.
Ten people have died in New South Wales from the disease.
Dr Gordion Fulde says many health professionals are concerned about the way the people are being told to deal with the outbreak.
"And we feel that the population has been frightened and scared unnecessarily because it really has caused a lot of extra work," he said.
