The West Moreton Hospital and Health Service has identified 123 patients and staff around Ipswich and Boonah who have contracted the illness.

More than half of them (55 patients and 14 staff) are at an Ipswich nursing home, west of Brisbane.

At the Boonah Health Service, one patient and 13 staff are sick.
Sunshine Coast health authorities say 10 patients at two hospitals are showing symptoms, compared with 25 people this morning.
