Two return from Bali with measles, sparking warnings about possible infection

Two people who were infected with measles in Bali have returned to Perth, sparking a warning hundreds of people could have been exposed to the virus on the flight or at various locations around the city...
...They were contagious when they travelled on Air Asia flight QZ 548 from Denpasar to Perth on December 20.
Passengers who were on the flight may be at risk of developing measles.
Others may also have been exposed if they were at the following locations at the weekend:
Saturday 20:
Perth Airport international terminal arrival area, early afternoon
Dan Murphy's bottle shop, Bull Creek; Pharmacy 777, and IGA supermarket in Willetton, 4:00pm to 5:00pm
Sunday 21:
Olympic Medical Centre in South Street, Canning Vale, 9:00am to 9:30am
Princess Margaret Hospital emergency department about 10am...

All children should be vaccinated for measles, professor says.
The number of people being diagnosed with measles in Australia hit a 16-year-high last year as scores of travellers brought the potentially fatal disease into the country and unvaccinated children fell victim to it.
Health Department data shows a total of 340 measles cases were recorded in Australia last year, the highest number since 1998. The rate of measles cases also peaked in 2014, with about 15 cases for every million people in Australia...
Measles warning in Canberra: travellers through Canberra Airport told to watch for symptoms

Travellers who flew from Melbourne to Canberra on Monday are being warned to be aware of measles symptoms after a Canberran became infected with the contagious illness on a recent overseas trip.
The case, which is the ACT's second this year, was notified to ACT Health on Thursday, June 18...
...Those who may have been exposed include people who flew on Virgin Airlines flight VA277 which left Melbourne at 3.50pm on Monday, June 15 and arrived in Canberra at about 5.15pm.
Dr Pengilley said anyone who was on the flight and may be pregnant, have impaired immunity or was not vaccinated against measles should contact ACT Health on (02) 6205 2155.
People who were at Canberra Airport between 5.15pm and 6.30pm may have also been incidentally exposed to measles...
