Disease control centre believes several thousand cases will surface
Far more people than usual have caught what is called ?atypical pneumonia? this autumn, and disease control centre Statens Serum Institut now believes an epidemic is likely on the way that will infect more than 10,000 people.
According senior centre researcher S?ren Uldum there tends to be a pneumonia epidemic around every five years. But the last was in 2004, so he expects the illness to strike back hard this season...
