Mandhi, June 8 (IBNS): At least 24 students from the Hyderabad city of Andhra Pradesh were feared to have been washed away in Beas river close to Himachal Pradesh's Mandi city on Sunday.
According to reports, the students visited Himachal Pradesh for an excursion trip when the mishap occurred at around 6 pm.

"In all, 38 students from VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology were on the riverbanks, clicking photographs of their summer sojourn, when the water level rose after discharge from the Larji hydel power project around 2km away," Hindustan Times reported...
