ناقش أعضاء المجلس الشعبى المحلى للمحافظة، الخطة المتكاملة لمكافحة الأمراض الوبائية والمعدية التى أعدتها مديرية الصحة بأسيوط للصيف الحالى، خاصة مع تزايد الأخطار من الأوبئة، خلال الجلسة الأخيرة للمجلس بحضور محمد فهمى صالح رئيس المجلس، واللواء سامى فودة السكرتير العام للمحافظة.

وأوضح الدكتور أحمد عبد الحميد مسئول الطب الوقائى بمديرية الصحة، أنه تم اكتشاف 3 حالات اشتباه بأنفلونزا الخنازير (2 بمركز أبنوب، و1 بمركز ديروط) وثبت سلبية العينة، مضيفاً أن عدم الإعلان لحرص المديرية على عدم بلبلة الرأى العام بدون التأكد من الإصابة، وأوضح مسئول المديرية أنه تم إقامة حجر صحى على أعلى مستوى بمطار أسيوط الدولى، ويتم متابعة كافة القادمين من دول الخليج والدول الأجنبية على مدار 10 أيام.

وفيما يخص الأمراض الوبائية، قال أحمد عبد الحميد إن أسيوط لم يحدث بها أى حالات إصابة على مدار الـ15 عاماً الماضية، ولكن ذلك لم يمنع من تواصل الاستعدادات المكثفة، مضيفاً أن مخزون التطعيمات والأمصال للأمراض والأوبئة متوافر ويكفى لعدة أشهر قادمة.

More than 5,000 passengers a week are entering Egypt with no medical examination to ensure whether they have swine flu or the plague.

This comes after the direction of Assiut International Airport has been forced to stop such examinations as the thermal scanners provided by the Ministries of Aviation and Health to measures passengers' body temperatures have broken down.

An official source at the airport says that the scanners have broken down because of the extreme heat at the airport arrival hall, which is located in the desert and has no air conditioning.

An official source at the airport has admitted that more than 5,000 passengers, mainly from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), enter the country every day without going through any medical examination.
The source explained that the quarantine doctors of Assiut Directorate of Health refuse to go to the airport for several reasons, mainly the lack of air-conditioning, fans and drinking water.

The source went on to say there is a dispute with the Egyptian Airports Company. The latter refuses to pay for the drilling and building of the wells set up by the Holding Company for Water and Waste-Water and insists that the cost must be incurred by the Governorate of Assiut.

The source said that the major disaster, though, is the fact that Cairo Airport receives every week five flights ? three on Egypt Air and two on Kuwaiti Airways ? coming from Kuwait and transiting at Assiut. Moreover, passengers from Assiut to Cairo do not go through any medical examination because they have traveled on a domestic flight and they have been checked at Assiut Airport.

He also explained that the airport use to receive a daily flight from Libya carried out by the Cairo Aviation Company as well as a weekly flight of the Buraq airline. Yet, the passengers on those flights did not go through any medical examination to make sure they did not have the plague, which has appeared in a village of the Libyan city of Tobruk.

أكد د.أحمد عبد المنعم وكيل وزارة الصحة بأسيوط، إدراج أنفلونزا الخنازير فى قائمة الأمراض واجبة الإبلاغ الفورى، مع رفع درجة الاستعداد فى جميع مستشفيات الحميات والصدر بالمحافظة.

وأضاف وكيل وزارة الصحة، أن المديرية عقدت دورات تدريبية لجميع مديرى المستشفيات والأطباء لتعريفهم بكيفية تشخيص وعلاج مرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، وتنشيط الترصد الوقائى لجميع المنشآت والإدارات الصحية وعمل مسح صحى على القرى والمناطق المحتمل تواجد خنازير بها مثل قرية العزبة والزاوية ودير درنكة وريفا؛ حيث لم يتم العثور على أى من الخنازير فى هذه الأماكن، وتم أخذ عينات عشوائية من المنازل الموجودة بهذه القرى وعمل تحاليل جاءت نتيجتها سلبية.

وأضاف وكيل وزارة الصحة بأنه تم إنشاء غرفة عمليات بالمديرية تتلقى بيانات من جميع المستشفيات عما إذا كان يوجد بها حالات اشتباه بأنفلونزا الخنازير من عدمه؛ لضمان سرعة التصرف وتلقى المريض جرعات العلاج اللازمة وبالسرعة الكافية، وهو ما كشفت عنه حالة إصابة لطفل عائد حديثا من اليونان؛ حيث تم اكتشاف الحالة بعد زيارة فريق الترصد الطبى لمنزله بقرية التناغة الشرقية عقب عودته ووالدته من الخارج حيث لوحظ ارتفاع فى درجة حرارته وهو ما استدعى إحالته لمستشفى حميات أسيوط حيث تلقى العلاج اللازم.

ومن ناحيته، أكد اللواء نبيل العزبى محافظ أسيوط على ضرورة الاستعداد الكامل لمواجهة أى طارئ مع تزويد المستشفيات بعقار التامفليو والكمامات اللازمة وعمل دورات تدريبية للأطباء على سرعة اكتشاف المرض وتكثيف برامج التوعية من خلال وسائل الإعلام والزيارات المنزلية للزائرات الريفيات، منوهًا على أن أسيوط خالية تماما من الخنازير ومن المحافظات القليلة التى لم تتوطن بها أنفلونزا الطيور أو الخنازير نظرًا للاحتياطات المكثفة التى اتخذتها المحافظة فى هذا الشأن
