Arbovirus infections in Puerto Rico: data for ZIKV, CHIKV and DENV as of EW 29 per PR MOH

[FONT=&quot]A total of 549 confirmed Arbovirus infections with 542 confirmed cases of ZIKV, 4 confirmed cases of DENV, and 3 confirmed cases of CHIKV reported by MOH (Note: PAHO reports 8 CHIKV cases of CHIKV as of 05 August) .[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]For ZIKV, 73070 suspected/40460 confirmed cases have been reported for the 2016-2017 season, with 47 cases of ZIKV associated microcephaly/ cognitive (CNS) malformations and 71 cases of GBS (54 ZIKV associated and 17 associated with Flavivirus infection) with 2 fatalities associated with GBS.
