The Arkansas Department of Health reported that a student at the Northwest Arkansas Community College has tested positive for tuberculous, school and government officials said.

The community college received a notification from ADH Wednesday, said Steven Hinds, executive director of public relations and marketing at NWACC in an email sent to students Wednesday. Because of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, ADH provided very little information to NWACC and contacted the college first...
